![]() If you were a fan of the original, you won't be disappointed. Again, the more obscure the match type (on XBox, anyway), the more difficult to get a lobby together. I've only been able to get a squad together on the Core version of Kill Confirmed though, so be warned. They've also taken some of the current match modes and added them to this iteration specifically Gun Game & Kill Confirmed. Were enough people playing it and if so, would there even be enough in the specific match types I enjoy (HC DM, for the record)? There are enough, but not nearly the amount as the old days so if you enjoyed the deep cut match modes, you might have a hard time getting two teams together to run a match. As of this point in time, I can tell you the biggest differences are the emblems, character customization, and greatly increased number of custom loadout slots (25 total, so the number of times you can prestige has gone way up).Īnother concern was matchmaking. I didn't want a lot of added weapons, kill-streaks, or abilities. When researching this remastered version, it was important not much had changed. ![]() I've had it less than a week and already spent 10+ hours playing online (and at level 32, on the way to my first Prestige). As far as I was/am concerned, CoD4 always held the top spot of the multiplayer genre. I'd spent *many* hours (equaling days) playing the original iteration of this game back in the late '00s, and its successors never quite inspired the same enjoyment as I felt when playing Modern Warfare. I don't want to make a big deal of that, but felt like a warning was necessary. To clarify right off the bat, I ordered this (disc) on Black Friday for the Xbox One.īe prepared, because as soon as you insert the disc and DL the content to your HD, an auto-update kicks in.
